ANBID's self-regulation activities began in 1998. Since then, the Association has created and instituted Self-Regulation Codes in which the market participants themselves establish regulatory standards that are far more rigid than the prevailing legislation. Self-Regulation contributes to raising the standard of operational practices in the market and instilling greater investor transparency.

 

The Self-Regulation department is supported by the Self-Regulation Committees, the majority of which is composed bymembers who are external to the Association, thus ensuring such bodies ' total independence.
