First set in 2003, the Investor Education Area’s objective is to disseminate knowledge of the mechanisms to be used in personal investments. The purpose of this department is to broaden the instruments for education and formation of the investor in Brazil. In addition, this initiative seeks to encourage the production of academic studies as a means of steadily improving the Brazilian capital markets.

The site is designed to highlight the importance of financial planning and a balanced approach, as well as the benefits accruing from long-term investments. The portal’s mission is to become a benchmark by offering the best and the most comprehensive didactic information on the various investment alternatives such as funds, equities, debentures, CDBs and public bonds as well as serving the needs of the investors through content, services and e-learning channels.
 
Educative Primers
 
The "Como Investir" Guides are educative, illustrated primers presented in a didactic and user-friendly format. They contain the rules and basic notions on how to manage your investments and through the medium of financial applications, obtain results compatible to the needs of each investor.
 
Academic Awards
The purpose of the ANBID Award is to stimulate academic studies and projects on the Brazilian capital markets.
The Association has created the ANBID Capital Markets Award for Master’s and Doctorate THESIS’ Projects in partnership with IEPE/Casa das Garças - Instituto de Estudos e Pesquisas Econômicas.
Courses
In addition to giving strong support to academic studies relating to the capital markets, the Association, through partnerships with renowned centers of learning, develops specialization courses of the highest quality standard's for market professionals as well as introductory courses for the public at large.
University Initiatives
This involves the holding of lectures focusing on future market professionals seeking to understand the functioning and dynamics of this market. The initiative also involves students from other disciplines needing to learn from an early age more about how to manage their investments.
