- Bolster the capital markets as an instrument for financing development;
- Support the strengthening of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission as the capital markets’ regulator;
- Improve the legal, regulatory and fiscal framework of the capital markets;
- Encourage the adoption of best practices by members and the respect for investors’ rights;
- Improve the services’ infrastructure and the rationalization of capital markets’ operating practices;
- Inculcate the mechanisms of self regulation in the Brazilian market;
- Contribute to the expansion of the knowledge of investor and relevant market entities on the investment products available to the capital markets;
- Disseminate relevant information to the market on the segments of the financial sector represented by ANBID.
